Owner Searches

One of our primary areas of business is performing owner searches.  In a typical case, we will locate unclaimed funds, identify to whom they belong, then attempt to contact that person and offer our services.  The potential client generally receives a letter informing them of the amount of money we have located and some information about our company.  Furthermore, they receive a Limited Power of Attorney to fill out and get notarized, authorizing us to represent them in the retrieval process.  Our fee is a percentage of the funds we collect and is contingency based, meaning we do not collect a fee unless and until we are successful in returning funds to the client.  If you have received a letter from Asset Recovery International regarding unclaimed funds, please feel free to contact us for more information at (866) 618-7331, or try our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Group Member Searches

We currently offer our services to a number of groups across the country.  Said groups include large and small businesses, as well as community and civic organizations.  These groups subscribe to our services on behalf of their members.  This entitles each member to have periodic searches run on their behalf.  The member simply fills out our Online Form and submits it via the internet.  Our research analysts then check a variety of sources in an attempt to locate any unclaimed funds the member may have.  We then e-mail the member their results.  If funds are located, the member is given the contact information for the entity holding their funds so they may make a claim.  In some cases, ARI may offer to complete the claim for an additional fee.

Holder Searches

ARI also assists the holders of unclaimed funds to find the rightful owners.  Such funds may take the form of dormant accounts, stale dated checks, funds held for missing heirs, or a variety of others.  In these cases, we will help identify the location of the rightful owner, and either provide that information to our client, or contact the owner on behalf of our client and alert them to the presence of the funds in question.  Fee arrangements vary.  Please contact us at (866) 618-7331 if you are currently holding unclaimed funds and would like more information on the services we can provide.
